Invitation to Participate in Western Food Products Festival
Beijing Western Food Association, a
non-profit organsation will be organizing the annual Western Food
Festival from 9 June – 11 July 2006 in Beijing in collaboration with
Beijing Olympics Organising Committee. The Festival would be held under
the banner of The Taste of Global Cuisine – Salutation to Beijing
Olympics 2008.

The organizers have invited Bangladesh to participate in
the Festival. The Festival could provide an opportunity for the food and
beverage companies of Bangladesh to exhibit their products and attract
Chinese as well as foreign buyers to explore the possibility of
exporting such products.
Their presence at the event could also generate
awareness among foreign investors about the business potentials in
Bangladesh in this particular sector. It is expected that during the
run-up to the Beijing Olympics 2008, there will be a great demand for
such products in the Chinese market.

The Festival would comprise
different segments including food and beverage, restaurant equipment and
supplies, restaurant furnishing and interior design, technology related
to food culture etc.
